About Me
Who is Shannon Cleaning?
Shannon Cleaning has been in business since September 2007. I have over twenty years of cleaning experience. I do the work myself for a more personal touch and to become familiar with my clients and their homes. I began my career in hotel management at the age of nineteen. There are many aspects to hotel management and along with running the admin side of a hotel you also must ensure that your guests have a nice clean room. After all if I were the guest I would want my room to be nothing less. Wouldn't you? So why not expect the same in our homes & offices.
My Story
I began my cleaning service in 2007 after a stressful accounting job that was making my life completely miserable. It consisted of many sleepless nights and long days with my head in a computer. I hated going to work and knew I had to make some changes for the better. Like many Americans and people all over the world I have struggled my entire life just to make ends meet only living from pay check to pay check. I have always desired to own and operate a business of my own and so I made the choice to start a home cleaning company. I am married and have 2 wonderful children, a daughter who graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky and has accepted an engineering job in Oregon. I also now have a stepson who is a 2nd degree black belt and is attending college in Tennessee. I myself have gotten a late start on improving my life's qualities but as long as God blesses me, I will strive to achieve my life's goals. Many people need assistance with their cleaning needs, so I chose a cleaning service because I find it to be stress free, and a pleasure to service those needs as well as work with different clients to build a one-on-one personal relationship with them. I have served many clients over the last 15 years and many of them have stayed for the duration of my time in their area of service. The best part about being a housekeeper and having a cleaning company is the interaction with the client. Most consider me to be their cleaning lady and I am okay with that, because being reliable, and honest is important to me and it comes with owning and operating a cleaning service. I want each and every person I have the pleasure to work with to feel that my goal is to build a special relationship with them and their home & offices so that they know that their cleaning needs are of the utmost importance to me. I consider myself an experienced cleaner and I take pride in my work, but I also take pride in ensuring dependable on time service.
It Truly Is My Pleasure
Most people don't believe me when I tell them it is a pleasure to clean their home or office but to me the true pleasure comes from a happy customer and knowing I did a job well done. God tells us to do everything as if we are doing it for him and so I believe he has blessed me, and passing those blessings on through my cleaning is a joy for me. I offer fair and competitive rates that are based weekly, bi-weekly, monthly & random. How often I clean is totally up to you. I don't believe in contracts and feel that you will be very pleased with my services, and that a contract is not needed and you will want to keep me returning to your home. If for some reason you are not happy, simply tell me and if I can't resolve the issue, I will move on. I love what I do and do what I love and it shows in a happy heart.
